Getting started; Your first massage!

Congratulations on making the decision to better your life by giving yourself the gift of relaxation. Whether you’re beginning a massage regimen or starting a skin care routine, your first spa appointment tends to raise a lot of questions about what to expect, or what’s expected of you. Here at Cascade Day Spa, we want to ease your mind and calm your nerves by answering some of the questions we hear most often.

Why do I need to show up early for my appointment?

Your appointment is set and so is your excitement. The lovely receptionist you spoke to on the phone asked that you show up for your service at least ten minutes prior to your scheduled time. Why? Well, since you are a new client, no matter what kind of service you are having, paperwork will be required prior to your service.

The sooner the paperwork is completed, the quicker we can begin.  After your paperwork is completed, your technician will take you into your service room, and speak to you personally regarding your service and answer any questions you may have. Our goal is to begin your service at the designated appointment time. Which is why arriving early is imperative. Otherwise, you may miss out on some treatment time.

We always strive for excellence at Cascade, and do our very best by each client. Unfortunately wiggle room is hard to come by. If we have spare time between appointments we will absolutely do our best to give you your full appointment time if you arrive late, or are not able to come in a few minutes early. We understand that things happen and sometimes it’s just one of those days. However we may not have the option to do so.
